DUDE Your supposed to pull the axles BACK AFTER you install the c-clips... So you push the axles all the way in, put the c-clip on and then pull on the axle as if you were going to pull it back out and VLOIA good to go

So loosened the nut holding the roll pin in, removed the pin and C clips to push the axles back in? Also you sure that posi is 28 spline and not 26?

Pretty sure thats a torsen posi unit if it's out of a 2001, and it has this kinda of a rectangle shaped block that slides down in there and you put the retaining bolt in it, I assume you dont have that block that goes in the middle?
