if you oil your filter you need to let it dry then you'l be fine...a lot of people simply oil them and put them right back in...

this can cause your MAP readings to be off and knock all sorts of stuff out of wack...

Did you read the "announcement" at the top of the page? Can't get any clearer than that.

and for those of us who arent still under warranty, you bear the chance of everything named in that announcement...

as long as you dont over oil your filter and as long as you let it dry you'll be fine...

Pretty basic auto mechanics is going to tell you that no air the engine inhales goes into your transmission. I guess the odd nature of your question threw people off. Maybe they thought it was a joke.

Before you start pointing fingers, you might want to consider if you know what you are talking about.

Obviously we don't know what we are talking about, please move this to advanced tech to explain the path of intake air and how it enters the tranny,

Also, your nitrous kit could be freezing the gears in the tranny causing them to bind, look into that as well.

The PCM decides what line pressure the tranny will use based on various sensor inputs. If these sensors are giving false readings (because of oil on them or another reason), you will get a line pressure that is too high or too low. This could cause your transmission problems.

I don't know of any time it directly uses the MAF or IAT for any transmission calculations, though (mostly TPS and VSS for MPH). The MAF or IAT would be the only sensors that would get oil on it from an over-oiled filter.
