Which cam would be best?

Alright once I pick up my Z28 this summer I will be doing a head/cam LT headers install. I plan on buying the Pacesetter LTs, because they are dirt cheap and I'll have them ceramic coated+Magnaflow catback. For heads I plan on buying a set of stockers and having a local performance guy port/polish them, hopefully get them to flow 260+cfm. I'll either get a LT4 intake or have the stock LT1 ported. Which cam would work best in this setup, CC305, CC306, or the Hot Cam? Which is emissions friendly? What kind of numbers would I see in an M6 car?

Edit: Which CMotorsports cam would work good? Also I would def. get the PCM tuned for these mods.

Cool

The 306 will not pass emissions. With ported heads, headers, and a ECM reprogram either the Hot cam or the 305 should be around 350 ish RWHP.

"hopefully get them to flow 260+cfm"

Save yourself the suspense and go to LLYOD ELLIOT and he will get u the 260 and then some! Mine flow 273. I GUARENTEE for the price, you're local porter will not be able to out flow him.

Emissions friendly cam out of those 3? CC305 and Hotcam...
or you could go to cmotorsports and have then do a custom grind that will pass emissions, give them a call.

"Pacesetter LTs, because they are dirt cheap "
I know that they are a great price, but you cant have that mentality on everything, cuz u get what you pay for. If you havent noticed yet ( u will) that modding is very expensive and once u start, you'll never stop. So in a lot of cases, do it right the first time otherwise you'll pay later on. Oh and make sure those Pacesetters still use the cat, cuz u have to pass emissions right?

Any more suggestions? What kind of combo are you emission guys running? I don't think heads and headers are a big emissions worry, but I know the cam will be. Will CMotorsports be able to custom grind me a cam that fits the specs of heads, headers, etc and keep it emissions legal?

Would a "special tune only for Emissions" tune it so it will pass?

No there is just too much overlap with the cc306 that even a real lean tune would probably be off the charts.

I have seen people theough pas with the 224/230 on a 112 here.

Whatabout Madwolf is his cam in an emissions tested car?
