I recently pulled my car out of winter hibernation and much to my chagrin I noticed some oil underneath.


It seems to be coming from the front of the engine bay and it really is a small amount of oil. After five months of sitting it didnt leak more than 2 tablespoons of oil. I haven't had a chance to get under there too look yet.


I've done some searching and I dont think its the IM gasket problem. I was thinking more like bad water pump which in turns means my Opti is gonna crap out soon. Ideas??

 

Where on the front is the oil sitting? Does it happen to be dripping off the metal tube (AIR tube) that crosses under the crank hub? My guess would be IM leak as well. Had had th smallest leak where oil would be sitting on that tube. After the intake leak fix it was no longer happening.
