Done some searches but I need a personal opinion on my hypothetical setup.

Lets say with mods in sig I run a xe224/230 112 LSA on stock heads. What kind of hp can I expect with a tune?

Now lets say I do the cam and a good set of heads. How much more will these heads net me. I need to justify this to my wallet.

Forgot to mention I have NO CLUE what good head numbers look like....any insite apprecieated to.

well with your stock heads done by say loyd elliot and matching cam, then with a great tune 380-400rwhp is positively attainable.

You'll likely end up happier in my experience if you outline goals & an approximate budget instead of sticking yourself with a particular cam. That's not a bad grind, but you can do better with something that will run similarly assuming you're going to stay with a stock stall converter.

 

My plans are to ditch the stock stall at some point. I emailed you some info you requested.

loyd offers a cam a head package for 1100 bucks its a 370 hp package with a dyno tune and headers and 58mm TB, and CAI. it 400 hp. acctaully one person ran a 11.76 on it, and another guy dynoed 399rwhp. not bad for 1100 bucks call him. 1-972-617-5617

 

The numbers I see with that cam, with a M6 tranny:

Stock Heads: 340 rwhp

Great ported heads: 375 rwhp
