Real simple LT1 question

Making a cost breakdown of what my project will cost, let me know if I forgot any parts.

BLOCK
HEADS + covers
VALVETRAIN(if not included) - valves i&e, springs, retaining nuts, rockers, pushrods, lifters
PISTONS + rings, rods, pins, bolts
CRANK
GASKETS - oilpan, timing, exhaust, intake...
INTAKE
EXHAUST
TIMING SET
CAM + lube
OIL PUMP + pickup, pan, screen
PULLEYS
OPTI + ignition, wiring...
TB
WATER PUMP + alt, a/c

Basically I'm looking for all the compnents to build an engine...I think if I were to go through it meticulously and think about it, I would get almost anything (my list isn't as complete as it should be - brain fart)

Hey, if you want to provide part numbers to places, that would be the greatest thing today, too.

Thanks

Can I make a suggestion, If your trying to make a high performance version of varying size. Buy a crate engine!!!!!! building your own is a pain in the A@#.

If that won't do, buy a junk engine and use some of the parts from it. For example the block, TB and Intake are highly reusable. Obviously if your aren't pumping up the performance, many other parts may be useable too.

As far as part numbers go, try these

high perf timing set for lt1/lt4 12370835

Distributor 1104032

Valve covers I like are 12497978 clearancing necessary

Don't forget bearings of assorted flavors (rod, mains and cam)

Tools of varying natures

Freeze plug kit sum-g1581 from Summit

complete gasket set TFS-31400911 also from summit

I'll be doing a 355 SC. I'm having a builder put together a short block, and using stuff like the intake, heads from the stock motor on the Z I am going to buy.

Then, I'll be selling off the spare parts. I guess I'll just ask my buddy.
