real easy gauge question

real easy gauge question

well finally today i got under the formula to unscrew the screw to run my psi gauge.well u guys says its a screw right above the oil filter.well i could not get that screw off.so i need to know another way to run my guage.any suggestion.i have the mechhinacial gauge.thanks.

Your only other choice is to "tee" off the existing location of the oil pressure sensor behind the intake.

Did you use a 6 point socket and a long bar? IMO, it sure would be a lot easier by the filter than behind the intake manifold.

i used a 15 in socket ranch and tried to get it off.i have the extension but that wont help much would it?its the perfect location cause its easier but i dont see the sending unit behind the mainfold.well the guages gave me some adaports and connectors.well help me out.also which way i should be turning the socket.now i hit rock bottom.haha

Lol, counter-clockwise to remove it. (you are working on the plug that is just under the label "Digits 10-17..." in this pic?)

See what I mean? You can't even find the existing sensor, so how are you going to work with it?
