Ready to put her back together, what else do i need ?

I am ready to put back together the woman and looking to see what else I need to do the job with minimal stops to Autozone.

I have about 2 gallons of antisieze compound.

I know I need gasket maker stuff for the front and rear of the intake to stop that leak.

I see a few components had orange stuff on the threads, like the knock module, what is that ?

Banjo Gaskets, do they need any lubricant ?

Am I missing anything?

What are you putting back together? Heads/cam, just a waterpump, engine rebuild?

you'll need..

4 gallons of MIXED coolant (DEX COOL) the orange stuff... they have it at autozone, get the ZEREX PRE-MIXED

intake gaskets
header gaskets
timing cover gasket
waterpump gaskets
copper rtv sealant for the front and back of the intake
silver rtv for the waterpump gaskets
and a throttle body gasket

think that's it

If the car is pre 96 it came with green antifreeze. And yes there are terrible things about Dexcool. Heatercore plugging and eating freeze plugs to name a few. I drained and flushed all the Dexcool out of my 96 Impala ss and have been using Prestone green now for 4 years with no problems. Dexcool clogged my heater core. Good luck

If you dont allready have them you may want to get some new head bolts....get some thread sealer too for the intake and head bolts. You want need the antisieze on anything other than the plugs so I belive you can take 1 gallon back

There are 4 seals on the coolant tubes that are on the back of the heads that you should replace, crank seal, opti seal, water pump gaskets, and the driven gear seal.

Van5150...there isn't a need to put thread sealer on the exhaust bolts.

Exhaust bolts dont need anything...yes to the rest. Get the seal and gaskets carlos refered to also. Also if you get the stock replacement headbolts they will allready have sealer on them.
