Read this ... see where I can be saving money ...

I was planning on ordering long tubes this week, but got caught up with stuff. So ... I will be ordering them very shortly now. See if you guys can save me some $$$ from reading the prices and stuff ...

From redlineperformanceengineering.com

Coated LT's Emm. Legal 399.99
ORY 125.99
O2 Ext. 45.99

*** I AM ordering bolts, and gaskets elsewhere because I was told that PaceSetters gaskets and bolts are cheap/suck ... If i was informed wrong, someone let me know and save my *** some money ...

From Summitracing.com

Felpro 1406's 15.88
ARP 1"long 5/16'' header bolt set 27.39

DO I NEED THESE ^ , Or are Pacesetters gaskets and bolts fine? I was told that they're cheap and pretty much suck ***.

From GMpartsdirect.com

LT4KM 28.92

Grand total, including shipping fee's ... $704.06 !!!

Any way I can save some money with out sacrificing performance (I dont want to have to order gaskets later on down the road if these ones suck ... so i was gonna get felpro's now sincei was told pacesetter's hardware is pretty generic ... )

Thanks all.

Why would you get emission legal LT's, but then get an off road y-pipe?

As of rite now, I know someone who will "lick and stick" for inspection. However, I wanted to get the legal ones just in case I loose my sources. Then i wont have to weld in fittings for it and stuff. Same cost so ...

Can anyone tell me how the quality is of Pacesetters gaskets and header bolts ? I was told they suck, but if their not bad, im going to jsut use them instead of ordering the Fel-Pro 1406's and ARP 1" X 5/16" header bolts ... What size are the bolts from Pacesetter ? The bolts and gaskets ~ what makes them "So much worse" ???
