Ran terrible this morning , What's up?

I haven't driven the Z for about 2 weeks due to the weather. Taking it in thursday for inspection then I'm getting my headers installed. Started Ok this morning, let it warm up, pulled out idled out of the neighborhood fine then fell flat when I took off down the major road. Pings has has no power. Not throwing any codes. Under any strain pings and falls flat. Got to work only 10 miles away. Revs up fine in park, put it in gear and power braked it, same thing starts ping around 2K with a load on. No check engine light on. Could it be damp from sitting for 2 weeks while we had all this rain? Is my opti taking a crap, all orig with 60K miles on it.

My mechanic buddy says it sounds like the cap to him. How much and how hard to replace?

Yes it sat outside and we had rain and snow for the last week and 1/2 so I hope it majically dries out when I leave work tonight. Plus it was sitting parked in the grass also so dampness underneath. If not it looks like I'll be buying a new opti. There goes the money I had for the header install plus extra.

Just give it alittle time, should dry out... You can try a hair dryer...
