It will help to know what it was that day. I run at a track that is 90 ft above sealevel. I ran one day and trapped 111mph the whole day (it rained earlier before I got there so the humidity was up). I then went back 2 weeks later with ZERO change to my car and trapped consistent 114's with just better weather. You might have had a bad density altitude and could un ~2-4mph better next time out.

I flash my 3600 Vig off idle and let the converter and suspension do the work...I used to build rpm at the line, but I found that starting from a complete rest with no suspension/rpm loading I am way more consistent and dropped .15 off of my 60's...But I'd tune first to get the timing/A/F sorted out and then practice/experiment at the track...
