Ram Air on a '94 camaro?

Is it possible to add a ram air setup to a '94 camaro? And is there a noticable advantage?

Of course.

SLP makes a H.O. hood and airbox to be used with Camaros. Although the benefits of a ram air setup over a CAI stop at appearance enhancement. HP gains are similar, although a CAI may edge out the ram air box, due to limited airflow entry in the hood.

Are you talking about adding a ram air type hood or a ram air setup similar to this...

As for noticing a difference... I don't think I'd go so far to say you'll notice a difference with either (the above link or a hood) over a good Cold Air Induction setup.

The only advantage i have noticed over my old CAI set up is being able to say i have ram air, and hopefully get some Ram Air T/A type decals to put on the hood right next to however much HP my car dynos.

easier to clean the air filter over a cai setup.. though I dont know if that's worth the 800 bucks difference.

edit: that would be cost difference between getting a hood with a new airbox and getting a cai setup...

I think the look alone is worth it.

^ I agree ^

Plz excuse my newbishness, but what exactly is definition of a Cold Air intake. Ive seen them b4, but except for a better looking design, Im not quite understanding what the true difference is. Is it the fact that it is an open air filter?

I really like the look of the ram air...is there a cold ram air setup out there with my name on it?

They call it cold air because where it get it air from (which is the wheel well). Plus the the cone filter is better at collecting air where it is placed. All in all though, most CAI's are the same, well except for the G2 which sucks.
