Looks like the 'factory' 96/97 SS airbox and ducting. Might have to look in a junk yard, or on the "parts for sale" forum.

Whay do you want to go with that set up?
It has been argued (proven?) that the standard cold air kits like the K&N and Moroso will make better power.

lol I have that setup on my Z I love it CAI are gay Why have a Ram air hood If ur not using it. If you want to get that setup get it im happy with mine. When i was stock and with the catback and the ram air I whooped on all other Zs and trans ams around the area I ran a 13.9 with the ram air DRs and Borla catback. BTW I hear alot of people say our 93s are faster then the rest of the foruth gens but never been proven must be one of those things i guess I know where you can get a kit at for it. Ill find it for ya bro. http://www.thunderracing.com/catalog...vid=4&pcid=123

Implying that "gay" = "bad" is just stupid. You can answer a question without being stupid.

"gay" as in I would never put one on my car. Its been proven that the ram air box makes 6 more horses at speed around 50. I know Cai make 15+ but figure the new intake setup makes 12+the 6 at 50 aslo people have claimed they read it makes 10 extra at 80 but who knows. On z28.com theres a thread over there i started 2 years ago still on the top of induction under lt1/lt4 with 55 people liking the Ram air compared to the 70 like the the cai. Its almost split so im not the only one. Im entitled to my opinions and i just prefer the ram air over cai.

I think the others are trying to say that he can make just as much power with "standard" CAI's. This will avoid the trouble of sawing a hole in the hood and expense of that setup.
