Cool What should I get next?

Folks:

I have a 95Z28 with 157K miles and it runs just fine. No leaks, squeks, etc. It has the LT4 Hot Cam Kit, CAI, Borla exhaust wide open and Pacesetter Headers.

My question is what can I bolt on next? I know it's getting along in miles but It's just a weekend warrior and runs just fine. I may eventually go the 383 route, but would like to tinker with it some more, something I could bolt on or something that would'nt be a big deal install wise.

Anybody got any ideas on how I could get a few more HP?

Thanks

Chuck

Maybe suspension upgrade, make sure the tires are up to par,and then think about some 3:73 gears,EWP(electric water pump),and a PCM tune which I assume you already have done before after the bumpstick swap.Just dont waste your hard earned money on UDP's or TB air foil.

everyone telling you to buy suspension upgrades because instead of adding more hp you want to make better use the hp you already have. A gear may be something you should look into or if you want more power a set of ported heads. If your willing to spend a grand or a little more i would checkout LE and AI. Both do very good work, if your looking to spend a little less a ele water pump and a 52mm tb may be your ticket to 15 hp.

Gears and a tune would probably net you the most gain for the price now.

Cool

Thanks all...

I had a tune with the LT4 Hot Cam kit, and am now veering towards 3.73 gears and maybe a 52MM throttle. any suggestions on how/where/how much for the 3.73 gears? As for the 52mm throttle, is the Granatelli one decent or is there one better?

How's that sound??

Chuck

You will probably pay around 500 grand total for a gear swap. As for the throttle body, Granatelli doesn't make one to my knowledge, they make mass air flow sensors, maybe you are confused? I would stay away from the aftermarket mass air flow sensors.

I know a car running with 150k running 15lbs of boost through a D1SC and sometimes sprays 150 shot so I'm sure 5 or 6psi wouldnt hurt if you didnt go WOT everywhere.
