Raising LT1 rev limiter

Going to the dyno tomorrow and I want to simply raise my rev limiter from 6400 up to 6600.
I have Tunercat demo and the EE (LT)1 file to edit the tune. No problem there.

Is this how I do it;
1. Load the tune in Tunercat for editing
2. Go to ECM constants
3. Raise "fuel cutoff 1st gear" from 6397 up to 6597
4. Raise "fuel cutoff 2nd-6th gear" from 6397 up to 6597
5. Raise "fuel resume 1st gear" from 6356 up to 6556
6. Raise "fuel resume 2nd-6th gear" from 6356 up to 6556
7. Save and rename the tune.
8. Load it in the car

Is this correct?
Anything else I need to address?

Thanks

You got it, although I would save the stock file first just in case you mess up something in the tune. Then I would go back into the file and edit what ever you need to do and save it as something else.

IMHO. you always read and save before altering any tune.

When your burning the new tune make very sure your battery is good, the voltage at the PCM is good, and your connection from the PC to the PCM is good. If one of those goes bad during the buring process your car will be brain dead.
