HP Estimate.

What would you guess I am sitting at with my recently added mods in my sig. I am hoping to get a MadZ28 tune later on.

Less signifigant things:

Bosch Platinum Plugs
Bosch Wires
Mobil 1 Fully Synthetic

What do you think?

Those recent add ons won't do anything. Also, whether you have an M6 or auto will make a difference. As mentioned above, the choice of cam will play a big factor as well as if any supporting mods were done with the cam such as 1.6 roller rocker arms.

Im gonna guess around 290RWHP. I had a hotcam, 1.6RR 52mmtb, lightly ported heads, ported intake etc and only did 311RWHP.

I didn't think the plugs, wires, and oil would have an effect.

But with the headers and Magnaflow exhaust. That's what I'm curious about. I have no cats too.

I don't have any idea what cam is in it. If I knew of a way to check I would. I know its not a very big cam. It only has a small amout of lope to it. The guy I bought it from just said it had a different cam. That was it. If I would have known I was going to do mods to the car, I would have found out more.

Also, my car is an A4.

Thats probably what I would guess, maybe a little higher, maybe a little less, it is hard to judge without knowing the exact grind or other valvetrain details.

I use iridium in my other vehicles, not in the Camaro though. I use a copper conductor for the nitrous. Nothing wrong with iridium plugs though.

As a general rule of thumb I wont use anything with "Bosch" on the box. Even the stuff they make for the German OEM's is junk.

For your question; 290 ish sounds likely. The easest way to get an idea of your cam would be to remove one of the valve covers and using a dial indicator measure the valve lift and duration. That wont tell you exactly but if it is an over the counter cam you could probably match up the specs.
