Radiator, over heating issues have returned.

Guys about 2 months I went into the house, and came back out and started my car and the temp gauge shot straight up into the red. I looked under the car and noticed all my coolant had gushed out. I refilled the radiator, and been driving it for 2 months with no problem at all.

Yesterday, however, the same thing happened again, but this time after I filled it back up it is still running hot. It will shoot over to the red, and than goes back over to above normal, but still running hotter than what it has been. What could be going on? Thanks.

Do you know where the coolant is coming from exactly? Things like the thermostat, radiator, overflow or radiator cap could be the cause. How much coolant are we talking about and is it hot there when this happens? There is a reserve for the extra coolant and a hose overflow that just dumps the extra if there is to much. The thermostat is real cheap and I always replace that when I have problem with overheating.

I found the problem I think. A hose had a big hole in it. I hope that was the problem anyway.
