Radiator fans on with AC?

Shouldn't the radiator fans come on when the AC is on? I noticed today they didn't seem to be on, even though the compresoor was cycling. It was about 65 degrees out, and the AC was pumping out 45 degree air. Car is 94 Z.

Or does the 94 have the two-speed fan setup, so the low speed may not be very noticable? There are three relays for fans in the underhood fuze box.

2 speeds. Low speed fan should come on under A/C

If your're going over say, 45 MPH or so, they should cut off after a minute or so of going this speed (or higher of course). BTW, I may be wrong, but I thought 94's didn't have a 2 speed fan, that they either had 1 fan or both fans on, instead of high and low.

1994 was the transition year from primary/secondary (2 relay) fans to high/low speed (3 relay) fans.
