rad removal 94z28

Do i have to remove the rad or fans to get the opitspark out

You probably will want to remove the fans for more room (easy to do), but you don't need to remove the radiator.

A '94 will take a specific year. A Delphi is a good brand. Not cheap, but when you buy a cheap one, it may quit on you in a day or two, if it even starts.

93/94 use an unvented Opti, driven by a splined driveshaft. 95-97 use a vented Opti, driven by the cam dowel pin. They are not interchangeable. Also consider an AC Delco replacement.

Lol I didn't pull the fans out.... no wonder it was a pain in the butt to get the water pump on,but still was able to get it in.

Every time wp comes off I always change it to be safe n have peace of mind

The only AC Delco optis I've seen lately have been rebuilt units. Last time I looked at Rock Auto they had new Delphi units. You might check Amazon as well.
