Racetronix LT1 Fuel System Improvments
NOTE!!!
As of April 28/03 the Racetronix LT1 fuel pump assemblies are being shipped with our new custom fine-particle graded-media fuel filter sock at no extra charge (value $15.00). This filter sock is made from the same material used to make most other Walbro filters and attaches to the bottom of the factory fill bucket. The new sock filters down to 30 microns as compared to the factory’s 70 micron filter. This will help reduce premature pump failures caused by rusty fuel tanks and lines.
If you have purchased a FLT1 system directly from Racetronix in the past we will provide the new filter sock at no cost to any customer willing to cover the $2.00 S&H via Air Mail. If you bought a FLT1 system through one of our dealers you will be required to provide proof-of-purchase or you can contact your dealer directly as they should have your invoice on file.
The Racetronix FLT1 HP fuel pump assembly for $149.99 comes with a Walbro 255L/Hr high pressure pump, Teflon in-tank wiring, flex tube, hose clamp, sealing adhesive (for fill-bucket) and the new filter sock. This system allows you to maintain the factory fill bucket with premium hardware at a nominal cost over what most other vendors charge for a generic-application pump and installation kit.

The LT1 system is a dealer only item due to the level of customer support required. Eventually all Racetronix product will be sold through our dealers only as Racetronix is a manufacture / distributor. This will allow customers to find what they need in their area and to get local support when required.
There are other U.S. dealers who have access to the LT1 product such as A&A and Speed Demon.
Thunder Racing has just signed up as a dealer so they will have our products in-stock and on-line in just over a week.
Racetronix is looking for well established stocking dealers. Most small speed shops don't want to stock much inventory and constantly want product drop-shipped. This is a hassle for our customers as many people require fuel systems to address last minute issues. We are considering offering a ‘Speed Shop courtesy discount’ program for those businesses that would like to test the waters before committing to becoming a stocking Racetronix dealer. We are also talking with some catalog / web order houses but we have concerns that they might not be able to properly support the product. Our objective is to make Racetronix product readily available to the masses as well a good customer support system.
If you have troubles locating the product you require drop us an email and we will locate a dealer that has what you need in stock.

Hey Jack, thanks for the update. I e-mailed you guys a while back (e-mail: treasurer@bhamfbody.com). I have not had a chance to get a fuel pressure gauge on the car due to finals, but i figure the sock is the reason for the bad pump, if it truly went bad. I just wanted to touch base via the UBB to let everyone know that you guys have been extremely helpful throughout this whole ordeal.
Racetronix is top notch guys. The kit was really easy and straight forward to install and the quality is worth every penny.
Jack - I'll be in touch with the Fuel Pressure readings ASAP, but i am backed up with finals and life in general until next week. Thanks for being one of the few shops out there who maintain integrity and high standards
