I have a gmmg system with gutted cats and I don't think it is loud enough. But some people say it's too loud with their cats on. I know with headers it would sound even better. Gmmg really is a amazing system.

Generally headers are quiter then manifolds at idle/low speeds because they cause much less turbulence in the exhaust stream. The only time they're usually any louder is when your WOT, or under heavy acceleration. The dynomouth, however, is known to be loud

The car can be as loud as it wants outside...just not inside I was looking into the corsa but I don't want to spend $700, I wish they sold just a muffler. Any ideas on droping the resonator and just putting in a hooker muffler so it would be a system like the borla?

Kataklysm... you might be the first to try the Hooker-Borla-style, why not try it? It's $90 for the muffler & prolly around $40-50 for a good install.
