Quiet Even With Headers

I'm looking for an exhaust thats not gonna blow my ear drums out every time I drive the car. I have MAC mids and the dynomouth on there now and its just to loud after a few months. What can I put on there that won't kill me? Thanks.

the Hooker catback (or just muffler) and the SLP 20TL (two on the left) systems are quieter than most but still have a nice tone & good bark at WOT

If you are looking for quietness and flow ability, then the Hooker catback would be the way to go. Good luck. But you know what they say, if it is too loud, you are too old

Fully capped borla is pretty quiet. However, I gained 8rwhp when opening the cap up.

Do you have a cat in the system? If not, then that is part of your problem.

My Hooker catback with a 3" carsound cat and MAC mids is not too loud. It's noticable louder than stock, but not "In your face" loud.

It's very quiet at idle and crusing. It's only when you are accelerating that it gets louder. I have a cat though, like I said.

Dynomax Ultraflow muffler(s) are very quiet and are
a straight through design. I can't even hear my engine
when crusing on the freeway (unless I step on it). I
would also think the Magnaflow is the same since it's
the same design.

After installing headers w/no cats, it's about the same volume as before at idle/cruising (when I had stock manifolds and dual cats), but when I step on it, it's pretty damn loud

Another option is to put a Moroso 3" twister bullet in the I pipe.
It's about 50.00 and will make a big difference.
Or if that's too quiet then just put in regular bullet in the I pipe.
With the spiral bullet my longtubes and Magnaflow are just slightly louder than stock.

How would a hooker muffler sound if only 1 pipe went into it. I'm thinking like the borla design when the one of over the axle pipes dumps straight out and one goes through a muffler. You guys think it would be quieter then a dynomouth? I'd drop the resonator to.

just install dual cutouts and leave them open, or better yet just take your exhaust off...that will sound much better
