quick wiring question

Ok.. I just replaced the heater core in my hoopty (AKA 94 Z28) now for some reason when I turn the AC/heater on the air comes out of the floor boards. No matter what, no air will come out of the vents at any temperature. It's my thought that a wire is out somewhere... just not sure as to where. Anyone ever had this problem before? I swear... I should have just left it stock and boring... grrr

Thanks and if anyone can help me out on this, I'll buy them dinner

Is there anything blocking the blower motor? Did you connect all the hoses and whatnot?

Re: quick wiring question

Most likely you managed to pull loose the vacuum hose that powers the air doors in the heater/AC system.

Which one is that? There are like 50 wires under my dashboard that I had to move out of the way to repplace the heater core.. no idea which on that is.

Re: quick wiring question

There is a black hose that goes into a multi-hose connector with other colored hoses. That black hose coming from the engine compartment is the vacuum feed to the mode control on the dash.
