As of right now I'm running the stock 1.5 rockers with dual valve springs with hotcam, ported heads, long tubes etc... i've heard putting 1.6 roller rockers on a basically stock engine can see a gain of around 10rwhp. Now, would I see more with my setup or pretty much a 10 or so rear wheel gain? now would I definately need poly locks and guide plates?

 

depends on which ones you get...if i was you id get 1.7's

you'd definitely see a gain with the hotcam since the 1.6's will raise your lift on both sides. depending on what rockers you get you might need poly locks, you might not. but definitely get a set.

 

I don't know about 10rwhp...I'm sure it's been done, but not typical on a mostly stock car...

 

they're either the rockers that come with the lt4 hot cam kit or the true lt4 1.6 rockers. I don't know how too tell the difference between the two.
