Can i use a '96 lt1 coil on '94 vette engine and '94 opti? Im using the original '96 z28 pcm.

 

The connectors are different - the 94 coil has a double connector with 4 wires, but the connections are redundant, If you had it in front of you, you could probably see what I'm talking about. And the 96 -97 has a single 3 pin connector. Not sure if there is a simple pigtail swap.

Also, you should probably use the 95 or later opti if you can, it's a better distributor.

 

well i got both coils but i had to use the '96 coil becuse the '94 coil had a different connecter. im using the '96 harness. i was just wondering if i could use the '96 coil with the 94' opti.
