Quick question!

Does anyone here know what all is involved in removing the traction control box on a 97 LT1? I hate that damn thing and it just looks ugly sitting on top of the damn vavle covers. Thanks.

Besides just removing it, you will need to buy a new accelerator cable that goes directly from the pedal to the TB, like non TCS cars have and also one for the cruise control. Not sure if there will be any complaints from the car if the TCS is not there.

I don`t know if it would be the same as a 95, but I removed mine and just bought a throttle cable for a car with no cruise control.

I`m too slow. I will also add, I did it at the same time I had my tune done and I told the guy I was getting rid of ASR. I am not sure if he had to change anything in the computer, but you might ask.
