I have been having oil pressure problems, but they seem to be getting better. When I slow down, my oil pressure drops to around 15 maybe, but not 0. Even if it doesn't go to 0, could the pickup have fallen off? I knocked on the pan with a hammer and heard something kind of rattling around, but I'm not sure if it would have been the pickup. I'm about to change out my fram oil filter for a better one to see if that fixes the problem. Thanks for any help.

 

Next oil change, use a coat hanger in the drain hole to see if you can feel anything there.

 

What he said. Shine a flashlight into the drain plug hole to see if you see it. If you dont, bang the pan with something blunt and soft, and listen for the pickup to rattle against the pan.
