QUICK Need to know !

PLEASE correct me if I'm wrong, but an LT-1 cam DOES NOT NEED a fuel pump lobe. Right ? Wrong?

right it doesnt need one, as there is no place on the block to even use a mechanical fuel pump.

That's what I thought. The guy selling the cam (or at least the one answering the questions) is telling me it does need one.

No That Has An Electric Pump. No Need For That. Maybe The Guy On The Phone Is Thinking That You Have An Old Lt1 From The Early 70's. It Would Need One.

To answer your question as you stated it, yes an LT-1 (70's model SBC) needs a fuel pump lobe on the cam. An LT1 (90's model engine) does not.
