car ran like crap when purchased,would cut off like no fuel to motor(choking)when i would punch it,cleaned the Maf ran great. (94 Z28)
noticed loss in power after a few months so cleaned the cold air intake filter with spectre cleaning kit,next day the choking problem is back! tried to clean Maf to no avail. just unplugged Maf while running,heard engine kick down then back up to normal. ran better. not same power but no chocking when WOT.
gotta be bad Maf right? and im selling but dont want to replace Maf,can i run it unplugged or will it mess up somethimg else??

Do a search on here. I think there are ways to test it with a volt meter.
