quick help, what size are the flywheel bolts?

9/16 socket seems right but I don't want to strip the heads of these bolts off.

also, are they reverse threaded or normal?

Thanks!

I don't remember the size head (seems like I remember old SBC ones to be 11/16). They are not reversed thread. Always use a 6 point socket for best grip and to avoid problems.

I just removed my flywheel, I found that a 14mm was a perfect fit.

If a 14mm fits, then use it. A 9/16=14.2875mm (just a little bigger) .
