Question Quick cam advice

I need some knowledge quickly on cams. I'm looking to order one tomorrow along with a bunch of stuff; headers, cat back, ported/polished heads, 1.6 RR, 52mm throttle body, and the rest of the necessary stuff. I need to choose my cam.

I was thinking of the CC 305 but was told it has a definite lope at idle. Is it very prounced or slight? I'm looking for power but good driveability on the street. Not going race mode or all out power; dollars won't allow and I need it to be an often driver if not a daily driver.

So if someone can give definite input I'll appreciate it.

I read a lot online and have seen a lot of guys like this cam but I thought it was mild enough to not get into lope. So please let me know and suggest another Comp Cam if you want.

Thanks

I'm hearing good things about the xfi268. It's a 218/224 on a 113 lsa, not sure you would need 1.6 rockers with it though.

Your probably right about that xfi cam. As far as the cc305 cam, a little lope doesn't always mean reduced drivability. Sometimes a cam can make a motor lope a little, while still producing good vacuum and low-end power, while able to retain the stock torque converter. See what anyone who uses this or the other cam has to say about those qualities.
