Questions for you Vortec guys out there...
I have my engine built but haven't run it yet. It is a 350 with the block deck shaved to provide 0.040" quench on stock pistons. The heads are Advanced Induction CNC ported stock LT1 castings with 2.00" and 1.55" SS valves. The compression is 11.25:1. The cam is a 230/234 .565"/.576" with a 110 LSA that should make max power at 5,800 to 6,000 rpm. I have a re-programmed 1995 Camaro computer from Jeff Creech at Carolina Engine Masters.
I just bought a never-been-run Vortec blower setup for a price I couldn't turn down. It is a LT1 Corvette kit and is supposed to have ~8 lbs boost. Have any of you run a blower with that much compression? What kind of engine management have you used?
