1. Yes, wires don't deliver horsepower, they just improve timing to it's max.
2. Yes, specially if it's got a blower. Bigger might be a good idea though.
3. Regular spark plugs are fine.

I got a question for you;
1. Why does everyone think tr55 is a "performance" plug? It's got iridium core, so does other normal ones you can buy for the same price or cheaper, are they performance? I just don't get all the hipe.

Plug wires deliver energy. The higher the compression, the more power, the stronger spark you need. Stock wires should be OK. But why skimp?

For 400rwHP, I'd recommend a 52mm TB. Your looking at 475-480 flywheelHP. With the engine dyno testing I did with my setup, approaching 500 flywheelHP, the measured air flow would have maxed out a 52mm TB.

When you add HP, you need a colder plug. Old rule of thumb was one step colder for each 75HP. With modern computer controlled fuel injection, you can stretch the HP limit a bit. I would definitely run at least one step colder than stock with an engine approaching 500HP. I run either Autolite 104 (one step colder) or 103's (2 steps colder).

Who said anything about an Iridium plug? The TR55 is available in platinum, non-platinum and iridium.
