questions about lt1 air intake

yea, but this one is $50, and due to old parts, im just trying to get back to stock numbers...

Stock numbers as in HP and TQ? If your car has low power then a cold air intake (especially a cobbled together ebay one) is NOT going to solve your problem.

A tune up though.... will go a long way.

It seems like you recently purchased the car. If so I would change the plugs and wires, if the previous owner never had it done. I would check into a madz28 or pcmforless tune when you are done doing everything.

ok cool, that was the next item on the agenda. The only reason im doing this first is because the filter is really, really dead; and the air intake elbow is shot, is leaking, and obviously causing problems with the air/fuel ration because its letting in air past the MAF, ya know?
