Question Related to Tempature of each Cylinder...
Has anyone ever taken tempature reading of every cylinder to see what they were? Well Ive got a Laser Thermometer that is very accurate and this is the readings I got..
All readings are taken about 1" from the head on the header..Keep in mind my headers are ceramic coated..Car had been running about 30mins
1- 254 F 2- 340
3- 330 4- 395
5- 370 6- 340
7- 280 8- 244
I would like everyone who has access to one of the tempature guns to check each cylinder about 1" from the head on the header and let me know what you get...Im wondering why some of my cylinders are higher/lower than each other..
Thanks
Cody

well just think about it, you know that your 3,5,4,6 are gonna be the hottest because they have other cylinders operating on each side of them. your outside cylinders (1,7,2,8) should be cooler than the inside cylinders because of less heat friction. as for ur # 2 being so hot i cant tell you. maybe a fouled spark plug is heating up the primary.
