Need new plug wires.......My question is, will any plug wires for the LT1 work with the made for you OVC looms? Either vertical or the on top of the valve covers looms? I know of the kit from thunder racing for 99.99 that has them, but I would prefer having wires that were already crimped from the factory and already fitted. So Does anyone have any suggestions or know of any aftermarket wires that will work with the MFY OVC looms?

 

I would recommend using Taylors for the OTVC set-up. I'm using MSD universal wire set for my OTVC set-up with MFY looms. I had to drill out looms because they won't fit 8.5mm wires.

 

Hmmm.....yeah I was just basically wondering if all the pre-fit wires will work with the OVC setup, or do they have to be cut-to-legth wires to work with that?

You have to cut your own. Its easy and well worth it. I didnt know anything about crimping or what it even truly meant but I did my own wires and they look and work perfectly.

 

So is there no manufacturer at all that makes wires for the DIY OVC looms that have pre-cut and cut to length wires????
I had some universal wires on my truck and always wondering about my crimping in the back of my head, and don't want to go through that again, so I just wanted to have factory crimped wires and still use the OVC setup.....any wires? at all would be great? thanks
