Question what should i expect from 3.73's

i just bought some motive gear 3.73 for my 1995 pontiac trans am . it is a six speed with many many mods included nitrous. what are the gains in the 1/4 i will see? COULD IT BE HALF A SECOND?

half a second?! If you're coming from 3.42s, then you might see a tenth or two. Its not really that big of a jump.

Question stock gears

what does my 95 trans am 6 speed convertible come with for gears, stock?

3.42's are stock in 6spd cars, 3.23 or 2.73 for autos.

yeah... you won't see that big of a diff. at all probably...

i'd return em and get some 4:10's

3.73s will be better then 4.10's with nitrous. But without the nitrous, you wont see any huge gains by changing to 3.73's.

Hopefully, I can get some 4.11's installed in my car by the end of the year.
