Re: question for le2 cam owners

Use a guage and see how much you have, mine weren't the greatest but they worked good enough to drive it daily without a canister.

Yeah, I would check everything to make sure you dont have a leak and all your brake components are working properly...My LE2 cam and brakes work great!!!

Re: question for le2 cam owners

to find the leak (assuming you have one) get a can of carburator cleaner and start spraying in short bursts around your vacuum hoses/lines and connections. (while car is running) when Idle changes you have found it.

Re: question for le2 cam owners

guage read 5" at idle, but as soon as i touched the gas it jumped to 15" then around 2500 rpm it read 20".... this sound like timing?

Re: question for le2 cam owners

Whats the lift on your LE2 cam? I'm having some vaccum issues two and I have a 306. Where did you hook up the vaccum gauge to measure this?

Lift doesn't have anything to do with it.....

I would check for a vacuum leak as well, that sounds like the culprit.

Re: question for le2 cam owners

I was just asking to see if his cam was as big as mine. I knew it has nothingto do with it. I'm getting a map reading of 65 kpa's @ idle according to datamaster
