question "cc306"

this is for the emission minded people,i have used this cam in the mid 90s in tpi applications and it barely passed emissions the ? here is will it pass in an Lt1,i know some folks dont care but for those of us that do this is the determining factor for the use of this cam!

Re: question "cc306"

i assume you need a sniffer test? i have heard of some people using the smog pump to pump air into the exhaust after the 02 sensors in the cat or somthing. i plan on passing with mine. use a more emission freindly tune as well.good luck.

Re: question "cc306"

Yes stock head LT1s like longer exhaust duration, especially with above stock lift and duration. Although a single pattern might make it easier to pass emissions. I'd go with CC305 if I were trying to pass emissions, with a 306 you'd have to pull some funky crap to get it to pass.
