Question about shocks and struts? Where to buy?

I think it's time for some new shocks/struts but I have a few questions. I've been told that for a '94 we have struts in the front and shocks in the back. Is that true?

Also, has anyone found any really good prices on some decent shocks/struts? I am not looking for the highest performance, just a good pair that will last.

Are places like Meineke a waste of money? Your personal experiences are appreciated.

Koni's

I got the SA Koni's from Sam Strano at Stranoparts.com. I love the Koni's with the eibach springs thus far.

It all depends on your use of the car and your budget. The Koni's are more expensive, but I like to be able to adjust the Koni's for the road courses. The Bilisteins are a very good shock as well and my meet your needs. Call Sam at Stranoparts.com and he will be able to give you more information on shocks in 5 minutes than you can digest. He is a good guy and will steer you straight.
