Question about our fuel systems... why the U turn in the fuel hoses?
I've always wondered why the LT1 fuel hoses come out of the front of the driver's side shock tower, then U-turn and go along the valve cover to the connectors at the back of the fuel rail. Why didn't GM just have them enter at the back of the shock tower and go straight across? I don't think exhaust manifold clearance would have been that bad... no worse than how it comes with the current setup.
