.050 on all plugs unless you have added boost or spray or changed your compression raito.

Why TR6 and not TR55 at .050?

On spray I've always been told TR6 with .035-.040. You could also check in at N2O tech if you are spraying......

Not spraying for now, but I decided NGK TR6's just to try out.

You'll get several opinions on this,so don't expect just one right answer. I gapped my Tr5s at .035 FWIW.

The TR5s and TR55s are the same plug. The TR5 is pre-gapped at .05, and the TR55 is gapped at .035-.04 I *think*. The TR6 is a step colder plug that is recommended for nitrous.

Stock replacement is a TR55 at .050". You will probably notice little difference between a TR55, 5, & 6 if your car is healthy.

I have had knock retard, and my TR55s always came out white (hot). I swapped to the TR6s, gapped them .040" and they "wore" nice and brown. However, I still saw knock retard (real).

Like I said the first time .050 if you are not spraying or boosting. The bigger the better(to a point), as long as your coil can handle it. Closing the gap just makes it easier for the spark to jump the gap when pressure is high (like when you are boosting or spraying. but closing the gap also slows flame travel. If you havent changed cylander pressure use OEM reccomendaion of .050, no matter what plug you have.
