Im putting together a wrecked 95 Convetable Z ... The engine was pulled and everything was a huge mess lol ... Got it most of the way together. One minor problem , I have 2 sets of heater hoses ... Where the hose goes into the water pump, the upper hose i belive ? ... it has a small bleeder on it, however the 2nd (Extra set that came with the other parts ) has a bleeder , and a little 1" long pipe sticking out of the side of it for another coolant line. What is this for? Which set do i use, the set with only a bleeder of the set with a bleeder and a 1" long pipe sticking out of it? Is it possible that 1 of the sets could be from a Vette ? that has an extra cooling line coming off the heater hose? Is this by chance for the factory Oil Cooler ? Im replacing the stock cooler with a good aftermarket cooler ive got.

 

Wow i botched that up lol, cant type tonite ... Convetable lol Convertible ... I think i need one a treys spellin lessons ...

 

The bleeder 'pipe' fopr 93-4 has a 'tee' the one for 95-7 is just a pipe[ not a 'tee'..
look for shoebox site for the radiator hose and heater hose diagrams[ for early[93-4] and late [95-7] that should clear it up for you?
