Question about MadZ tunning.

I'm thinking of getting his unlimited email tune package. I'm wondering if he will provide the software to upload the program to my car? And if he does give the package does it read/clear trouble codes?

Thanks

Re: Question about MadZ tunning.

I was talking with my brother about the same thing. I was thinking of gettting the email package as well, but we couldn't find on Madz28.com's website or the AKM cable website any info on what to program that is needed . I would like to know as well.

Re: Question about MadZ tunning.

You would need tunercat or LT1 edit, or a program similar to them

Yes, I do provide the uploading and reading means but it does not scan/flash trouble codes.

hey Ion, so if i wanted to get e-mail tunes, what i would need on this end would be the cable to run from the laptop to the car and LT1 edit for obdII, and that's all?

Re: Question about MadZ tunning.

I provide uploading software for 94-95 cars, so yes, you would need OBDII lt1_edit for email tuning on a 96 or 97.

Wow i appolgize to all for the above false info i gave. I was under the impression that you needed your own software to upload the files.

Re: Question about MadZ tunning.

Wow ! Great I was hoping that I wouldn't need to buy a program I am planning on a cam swap with my tax returns and the email package seems the best way to go for me as I will be getting a larger stall later down the road. Thanks Ion for the info It's all good altjar
