I am going to be doing a cam install soon and I did not get lifters in my kit. I got the 224/230 cam from comp cams and was wondering if I should do new lifters too and if so what part number lifters should I get? I was looking through summit and there were so many to choose from.

Any input is appreciated

 

I would recommend the Comp R's from Comp Cams.

 

When I did my cam I was told by CMotorsports that with that cam I wouldn't need to get new lifters.

It couldn't hurt to get new one's tho. If I had to get lifters I would go with the comp R's.
