In the 3rd gen cars you can put a paperclip between the last 2 slots on the top row of the diagnostic port and the car will blink the trouble code to you. My question is can you do this with an obd II (96 SS) and if so is it the same two slots. Thanks for any help.

 

On your car, you can only retrieve the codes with a scan tool or equivalent software.
