Question about factory Springs

I need a little education on what's available. I know that there are springs rated for the V6 cars, and stiffer springs for the LT1 cars.

Did the 1LE/B4C/WS6 cars get even stiffer springs than the normal LT1 springs?

Reason I ask, is that I'm not interested in lowering my car, but I want some springs that are a bit stiffer than stock. I have to swap out the stockers since they are quite worn.

If these exist, does anyone have a line on someone who can get new sets at a good cost? Or am I just better off getting a set of springs along the lines of the BMR sets, in regards to cost?

Thanks!

I don't have the link, but do a search for SLP takeoffs. You might be able to locate some springs from them.

Yeah they sell the stock Z28 takeoffs at slponline.com, but I'm wondering if there are any places where I can get 1LE springs. They should be stiffer, if they even exist.

I know about the Z28 and Eibach springs from SLP, but I'm looking for 1LE springs.

Thanks.

Stock Z28 springs are 292# front, 1LE is a 360# front and I think a 140-180 rear (forget). In the 60s the Z28 got a 360# front stock.

Thanks for that link to the website on spring rates. I definetly want 1LE springs now. I tried GMpartsdirect and got a price of 45$ a spring.

Should I try Jason Cromer?
