Question about cam reprogramming!

What fuel pressure should I run with the XE Comp Cam 503 510 lift? When I reprogram my computer what should I do to get the best gains for this cam install. Im gonna remove the HPP3 and get custom tuning for my LT1.

PCMforless except no subsitute!

Email Bryan at http://www.pcmforless.com he is the BEST out there, great customer relations and tuning.

You can do a few different things. YOU can send your PCM out physically and there a certain charge plus a 6 month free reprogram.

OR

If you have a laptop, for 50$ he emails you your program and with the AKM cable you upload it, its a one time only offer.

OR!!!!! THE BEST OPTION

With a lap top for 75$ he tunes your car right and its UNLIMITED free email updates. For as long as you own the car.

Any program you need is FreeScan and Data Master, a laptop and cable for the ODB1 pcm.

The best way to reprogram your car for your new cam would be to have it dyno-tuned. If you have a local shop around you that does it, then definitly do that. It may cost quite a bit, but is definitly worth it.

Bearing in mind that Data master's purpous is to record everything the PCM and tranny does (if its electric) Send that to Bryan and he adjust its accordingly, still only a one time cost of 75$. So scan it or actually it logs all the info and he will fix everything!

You won't have to mess with the fuel pressure.
The stock 44 psi works fine. If you adjust it, the computer starts adjusting the pulsewidths of the injectors over time, anyway, so any initial gains you see will be temporary.

I'd also go with a dynotune. You can always get more rwhp that way.

If not, I'm sure many members here have LT1 Edit files they wouldn't mind sharing.

What about 93 speeddensity. Can I scan my car and email him the info and he make corrections to optimize my head/cam/header upgrade? .
