Re: Question about 93 ECM

I have the pump unplugged and put a fresh fuse in. I'm not having a light. But my fans are now on.

Re: Question about 93 ECM

Time to check the ECM for codes. Since you have 93, you can do this by shorting the ALDL pins and flashing the SES light. The fans should not remain on, and if they do, it often indicates a code.

Re: Question about 93 ECM

Sorry about the oh so long delay. But Tuesday I had my plugs and wires replaced. The car feels strong as ever. But, when I step on it...it just stumbles and backfires.

I had it scanned for coded. I figured it would be an EGR problem. Instead, I got a Code 28. Which is QDM. I have my AIR pump disconnected. Is that giving me the code 28? The backfiring is still a mystery. Injuneer. If you could answer my PM that would be great.

Thanks.

Re: Question about 93 ECM

I responded to your PM. DTC 28 is not for the AIR pump.
