Question about 918 retainers. Bret, Lloyd, or anyone else that has experience w/them

OK well turns out I the retainers I bought are for 7* locks, not 10* like I wanted. They are the titanium 772-16. Friend gave me the wrong part number by accident. He had them on his LS1. My Question is, can I just go buy 7* locks and use those? Will these work for that, or are the 772s specific to LS1s only? I am not worried about strength, as I am not revving high at all. I just couldn't pass up the deal I got on these...

Yeah get some 7 deg locks and see what installed height you come up with to see if it will work. I know Lloyd has used some 7 deg stuff but that was with +.050 valves.
